Dishes. Laundry. Toys. Pet hair. Stuff everywhere! Our lives are filled with objects that take up space-on our counters, on the floors, and tucked in the corners. Things we use every day to survive and live. They must be put away and cleaned up, day after day. I am surrounded by the clutter of our daily lives. Some days it seems magical. Other days it is overwhelming. My art shows how I feel when I look at all the things around me. After awhile the heap of disorder just seems to blend together. I enjoy mixing in recognizable items that you would find in nature or science. My goal is that all the objects seem slightly recognizable but could be several different things. I want everyone to relate to it personally based on what they are surrounded by in their daily lives and to feel engulfed by the mess, as I often do.
